Term 4 Week 7

We made Hula Skirts and we were put into different coloured groups . My group was orange. It was fun making the skirt because I learned a new tying skill. We had parent helpers to help us with the tricky bits. There were fabrics, ribbons and feathers that you could decorate with. We had some photos taken.

Term 4 Week 7

Lucy 
Today we went to Corban's Art Centre. We made Maori skirts out of flax and scraps of fabric. It was challenging because we had to do some tying of knots. It was fun being able to choose which fabrics and what colours to use. We got to put petals and feathers on too.
