Term 2 Week 2

ANZAC DAY

Last week we had a remembrance ceremony at school under the big tree on the front lawn. You may have seen the white crosses set out to represent the soldiers who had died in the World Wars.

We came back to class and had lots of questions and comments to make about the experience.

It was a very special occasion and it was very moving.

On Anzac day many of us went to the Dawn Parade.

" My Great, Great, Great Grandpa was in the First World War," said Mia.

" At the Street Dawn Parade we were holding poppies," said Leo.
